SoundCampaign connects independent artists with the playlist curators who can move their music. our brief was acquisition: build the media that brings those artists to the platform and gives them a reason to back their own work and grow.

bring independent artists onto SoundCampaign at volume, and make the value obvious in the first scroll: this is where your music reaches the curators who can place it. one promise, carried by every piece of media we made.



the platform had an inconsistent feed and no real standing with the artists it needed. credibility was the gap. our advantage was that our team had released music ourselves, so we knew the audience from the inside.
that let us write to artists as peers, not as a brand talking at them. the tone earned attention the feed had been paying for and not getting.
we built and ran an original Instagram Song Contest. the first run drew 1,558 artist submissions and thousands of audience votes, turning the brief into a repeatable acquisition format.
every semi-finalist earned a produced artist spotlight, made by us. the artists shared it to their own audiences, so each run recruited the next.
